Ruslan Golubev is the founder of Anthropos Design Studio, a Pacific Northwest–based residential practice creating spaces of lasting character. His work spans from urban neighborhoods to the open landscapes of northern Washington, guided by a commitment to simplicity, proportion, and spatial calm. “Stillness, made space” defines the studio’s mission—to design places that invite pause and rest from the rhythms of daily life.
Of Greek descent, Ruslan draws from a cultural legacy that values permanence, clarity, and the deep relationship between people and place. Combined with a modern sensibility, this heritage informs an approach where every surface, junction, and proportion is considered in pursuit of enduring harmony.
Currently completing his Bachelor of Architecture at Portland School of Architecture, he is influenced by the quiet rigor of John Pawson and the measured precision of Eric W. Reinholdt. Each commission—whether new or adaptive—is approached with the belief that architecture should frame daily life with grace, purpose, and the possibility of calm.
